In the words of the M-People, Queen Street Records of Market Drayton, Shropshire has quite literately moved on up!
Steve Ball (Director) had to move to a larger shop as he’ed outgrown the old one within 18 months of opening his first shop on Queen Street.
Our Station Manager Danny Drayton and Ngage Radio DJ Dickie Bourne visited Steve for the grand reopening on Sat 14th Jan 23, there was was a great buzz in the larger store which has moved down the street with many people browsing through the racks of vinyl records and CD’s.
It bought back memories for Dickie and Danny flipping through the music which they used to buy for their discos.
The larger shop now serves Teas and amazing Coffee’s made from the finest arabica beans, Steve said it took a while to find the right tasing coffee, well both Dickie and Danny can confirm it hit the spot.
There is a large selection of both New and Second Hand music available they also stock guitar strings and sound leads and a few other accessories.
We would like to wish Steve and his Wife Sharien Ball all the very best of luck in their new shop and look forward for Ngage Radio to broadcast live from Queen Street Records later in the year.
Please take a look at the website and give them a follow on Facebook.
